Being part of the largest metropolitan area in the country, Jersey City and the surrounding towns have one of the best systems of public transportation anywhere. However, New Jersey Transit has never seen fit to make a map of where it all goes. Mike started this map when he moved into Jersey City Heights, just so he could figure out what bus to take to work, and things kind of snowballed from there.

After Mike published the first version, Owen joined the project to improve the site design and produce the google map interface found in the latest version.
